A PRE WWII FULL RUG-MOUNT OF AN INDIAN LEOPARD,
lined with baize and canvas, measuring approx. 92in. nose to tail, the underside with 'VAN INGEN & VAN INGEN MYSORE'

Provenance: The leopard was shot by Captain Stephen Rose Royal Fusiliers (later Lt. Colonel) who was stationed in Delhi. He was in the United Provinces when he heard of the leopard which had become a notorious cattle thief, much feared by the locals.
